Two Weeks of Sound, Connection, and Pure Magic Across the Great Lakes 💫
Adrienne and I just wrapped up our two-week sound bath tour and we're home now, exhausted in the best way possible, with hearts absolutely overflowing!
We kicked things off at Serendipity Yoga in Homewood, IL with our dear friend Liz, then headed north to Plover Yoga in Stevens Point where Kirsten welcomed us like old friends. The connection was instant and deep.
Can we talk about northern Wisconsin for a second?? Nobody ever told us just how stunning it is up there! We found ourselves wandering through roadside wildflowers, breathing in that crisp northern air, and stopping for impromptu photo shoots because the beauty was just too good not to capture.
Our residency at Wild Rice Retreat in Bayfield was pure magic—morning yoga classes, evening sound journeys, and a group of strangers-turned-family. We met the most wonderful souls there, including Anne and Arschia who gifted us tickets to see Trey Anastasio at the Big Top. The generosity and love we received on this trip was overwhelming in the most beautiful way! 🎶
Then came one of the highlights: surprising Moses Love at A New Beginning Bodyworks in Woodruff, and he surprised us right back by showing up to our sound bath at the Washburn Meditation Center. The acoustics in that space were absolutely unreal! We also reconnected with our friend Bri at Alluma Yoga—one of those "we need to do this more often" moments.
The stars truly aligned when we got to teach at a retreat on Drummond Island. Bringing the trailer onto the ferry, soaking in those island vibes—such a cool experience! Jeanne is definitely going to be a lifelong friend, and we met Joice and Amy from Germinate Wellness too.
Leading a sacred sound journey at Northern Life in Sault Ste. Marie in an old church was incredible—the space brought out the absolute best in our instruments. Allie was so sweet and genuine; we'll definitely be back!
Of course we had to climb Dune #9 at Sleeping Bear—you know, the notoriously steep one where people regularly get stuck. We made it in 21 minutes and now Luke wants to go back and do five in a row 😂
Root Down Yoga in Muskegon brought another magical evening. One young woman told us it was "one of the most profound experiences of my life," and that's what we live for. Our sound events are about meditation, transformation, alignment, emotional processing, and healing. The sound bath helps people drop into that deep meditative state quickly and sustain it. We hear stories of emotional breakthroughs, chronic headaches relieved, pains beginning to fade. Days later, people reach out saying a fog has lifted. That's the power of intentional group work.
Our final stop was the Grand Rapids Downtown Market greenhouse with about 60 beautiful souls. What a way to end the tour! The energy in that space was incredible. Thank you, Kristen!
We're so happy to be home! Between the driving, parking logistics, hauling the trailer, and setting up/breaking down all the equipment at each stop... let's just say we slept VERY well the entire trip!
What a life we're living. We're so grateful to be sharing this healing work and meeting all these incredible people along the way.
Keep your eyes peeled for our next tour! And don't forget—there are only a couple spots left for Return to the Sacred: Retreat at Wild Rice in September. We'd love to see you there! 🌾✨
