Two Weeks of Sound, Connection, and Pure Magic Across the Great Lakes 💫

Adrienne and I just wrapped up our two-week sound bath tour and we're home now, exhausted in the best way possible, with hearts absolutely overflowing!

We kicked things off at Serendipity Yoga in Homewood, IL with our dear friend Liz, then headed north to Plover Yoga in Stevens Point where Kirsten welcomed us like old friends. The connection was instant and deep.

Can we talk about northern Wisconsin for a second?? Nobody ever told us just how stunning it is up there! We found ourselves wandering through roadside wildflowers, breathing in that crisp northern air, and stopping for impromptu photo shoots because the beauty was just too good not to capture.

Our residency at Wild Rice Retreat in Bayfield was pure magic—morning yoga classes, evening sound journeys, and a group of strangers-turned-family. We met the most wonderful souls there, including Anne and Arschia who gifted us tickets to see Trey Anastasio at the Big Top. The generosity and love we received on this trip was overwhelming in the most beautiful way! 🎶

Then came one of the highlights: surprising Moses Love at A New Beginning Bodyworks in Woodruff, and he surprised us right back by showing up to our sound bath at the Washburn Meditation Center. The acoustics in that space were absolutely unreal! We also reconnected with our friend Bri at Alluma Yoga—one of those "we need to do this more often" moments.

The stars truly aligned when we got to teach at a retreat on Drummond Island. Bringing the trailer onto the ferry, soaking in those island vibes—such a cool experience! Jeanne is definitely going to be a lifelong friend, and we met Joice and Amy from Germinate Wellness too.

Leading a sacred sound journey at Northern Life in Sault Ste. Marie in an old church was incredible—the space brought out the absolute best in our instruments. Allie was so sweet and genuine; we'll definitely be back!

Of course we had to climb Dune #9 at Sleeping Bear—you know, the notoriously steep one where people regularly get stuck. We made it in 21 minutes and now Luke wants to go back and do five in a row 😂

Root Down Yoga in Muskegon brought another magical evening. One young woman told us it was "one of the most profound experiences of my life," and that's what we live for. Our sound events are about meditation, transformation, alignment, emotional processing, and healing. The sound bath helps people drop into that deep meditative state quickly and sustain it. We hear stories of emotional breakthroughs, chronic headaches relieved, pains beginning to fade. Days later, people reach out saying a fog has lifted. That's the power of intentional group work.

Our final stop was the Grand Rapids Downtown Market greenhouse with about 60 beautiful souls. What a way to end the tour! The energy in that space was incredible. Thank you, Kristen!

We're so happy to be home! Between the driving, parking logistics, hauling the trailer, and setting up/breaking down all the equipment at each stop... let's just say we slept VERY well the entire trip!

What a life we're living. We're so grateful to be sharing this healing work and meeting all these incredible people along the way.

Keep your eyes peeled for our next tour! And don't forget—there are only a couple spots left for Return to the Sacred: Retreat at Wild Rice in September. We'd love to see you there! 🌾✨

We're getting closer to the end of our little retreat-centric series, and with it, the early bird pricing is about to spread its wings and fly away :)

Early bird: from $1,600 (ends May 17) Regular: from $1,750

Four days. All meals. Your room. Every practice. The land. The container.

If you've been following our journey, thank you.

Whether you come to the retreat or not, we're grateful to share this work—and our lives—with you. To talk about what's helped us, what we've learned, why we do this.

For those who are ready—who feel it, who know they need this, who are finally ready to step off the dock and give themselves something real—we're here.

We're creating something sacred. A collective experience with people who chose to show up. Not because they were convinced, but because they knew.

You're already doing everything for everyone else.

This is for you.

We need to tell you about Wild Rice Retreat Center.

Because this isn't just a venue we rented. This is a place with a story—one that mirrors the work we'll be doing together in September.

It started as a dream of something extraordinary.

The Wild Rice Restaurant—dreamed into being by Mary Hulings Rice and designed by acclaimed architect David Salmela—became a north star in the culinary world. James Beard-nominated. Chef Jim Webster, a four-time semifinalist for Best Chef.

They came for Michelin-level excellence on the shores of Lake Superior.

But somewhere along the way, the founders realized something:

The space was calling for more.

The land—100 acres of forest meeting the lake—wanted to hold more than just extraordinary meals. It wanted to hold transformation.

So Wild Rice evolved. The restaurant was reinvented and a Retreat Center was born.

A place designed for you to come home to yourself.

Here's what awaits you:

Architect David Salmela didn't just design buildings—he created spaces in conversation with the land. The accommodations at Wild Rice are Scandinavian-inspired and utterly stunning.

Every detail is intentional. Every element invites you to slow down and be here.

And the food?

That legacy didn't disappear—it transformed.

At Root, the onsite kitchen, nourishment is a core pillar. The culinary team creates clean, light, intentionally developed flavors with a creative, handcrafted.

Every meal is designed to fuel your body and your soul. To create warmth. Connection. A sense that you're being cared for at the deepest level.

This is the container for our work together.

A place that holds you while you shed the old stories and step into the new ones.

Yoga, Sacred Sound Journeys, Meditation, Rest, Sacred Land, Nourishing Food, Nature.

September 17-20, 2026

31 Scandinavian-inspired units on 100 acres where the forest meets Lake Superior.

Accommodations, meals, all practices, and the space to finally exhale—included.

If your nervous system could send you a letter, it would beg you to read this.

You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. You’re burnt out—and your body has been trying to tell you.

This September, we’re gathering a cohort of journeyers who are ready to stop pushing and start restoring. Sound healing. Yoga nidra. Private cabins nestled in nature. Nourishing meals. And the kind of rest that actually changes you.

In the last month, I’ve read applications from women navigating grief, burnout, healthcare trauma, and life transitions. Every single one said the same thing: “My nervous system is asking for rest.”

If that’s you—if you’ve been Googling retreats at 2am, if your body is screaming for a reset—this is your sign.

This isn’t a vacation. It’s a homecoming.

What does it feel like to step out of the current of your regular life and into something more ancient?

This September 17-20, we're gathering at Wild Rice Retreat for "Return to the Sacred"—four days and three nights to remember who you are beneath the noise.

Not the Instagram version of a retreat. The real, embodied, this-is-what-you'll-actually-experience version.

Mornings that arrive gently. Meditation and breathwork that land you back in your body. Yoga that listens instead of performs. Meals that feel like ritual. Free time that isn't filler—it's essential. Silent hikes on sacred land. Optional adventures to the Apostle Islands. Evenings held by sacred sound journeys that let your subconscious finally speak.

And sleep. The kind that only comes when your nervous system believes it's safe to let go.

This is for people doing their own work. People who don't need you to explain. People brave enough to look inward.

The insights don't just come during the practices. They come in the pause. In the wandering. In the moments when you stop trying.

Early bird pricing ends May 17.
