Its Islas Heart-Aversary! THREE years of renewed life for Isla Jane! Hard to believe it's been three years.

At Islas recent cardiology visit they determined that the likelihood she will ever need cardiac intervention again (outside of pacemaker adjustments etc.) Are slim.

We are forever grateful for our team in Boston + Dr. Bolin at ACH for being so supportive and accommodating of our decision to seek care at Boston Children's.

Of course, we also are so incredibly thankful for Islas Army!

A BIG weekend for sweet Isla as she got to represent her wonderful preschool and help light the Arkansas State Capital for the Christmas Season. 🎄🎅

Some how our Isla Jane is THREE today.
She is full of s***k and sass and we wouldnt have it any other way.

She loves to sing, dance, and nothing within reach is safe. She loves all things bread, Bluey, to go, and her sisters.

Isla has fallen into the big-sis role seamlessly... poor little Emma handles all of Islas shenanigans quite well. 😆

There's a few things that are always a guarantee if you spend some time with Isla...

She undoubtedly is going to tell you "no" but proceed to give a lot of kisses and the best hug. She's probably going to lick you at least once. It is what it is, we're working on it. Chances are, she's going to throw food at you and then smile really big like she did nothing wrong. Laugh. She's going to laugh. Maybe at something, maybe at nothing, but it's infectious...

The most important thing of all, if you spend some time with Isla, your going to leave with your cup full. She is prespective. She is Joy. Most importantly, She is happiness.

Our lives are better, because Isla Jane is in it, and we are so grateful to have been chosen for her.

Happy Birthday, Isla Jane. We love you more than words could ever describe. 💙💛

Isla Jane is LOVES Summer ☀️ and being a big Sister! These days we like to call her "The Hurricane"... sweet thing leaves a path of destruction wherever she goes 😆

Thanks to her awesome team of therapist Isla is walking, so very close to talking, and is doing so well in everyday ADL's!

Isla Jane LOVES music and doesn't hesitate to show you her dance moves 🎶

Currently, her favorite thing to eat is a hamburger... hold the meat 😅 and she can't get enough of raisins.

Oh, and dad has her absolutely obsessed with Bluey.... but then again, who isn't obsessed with Bluey. 😉

Isla is THRIVING and we are so greatful!

Big Sister Status, Unlocked. 🥰

Isla has adjusted SO WELL after welcoming her new baby sister last week. We are so proud of her and can't wait to watch her be the best big sister 💙💛

TWO years of renewed life for Isla Jane 💕

So very hard to believe that two years ago we handed sweet Isla over to the incredible team at Boston Children's and prayed fervently that everything would go smoothly and Isla would get chance to live as normal life as possible.

We will forever be grateful for our team and all the support we had from family, friends, and strangers. Forever Islas Army 💛💙
