It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of a man who meant so much to so many of us at J&R Pharmacy — James “Jeff” Wiseman.

Jeff was far more than an owner or employer. He was a mentor, a leader, and a friend. For nearly 40 years, he dedicated his life not only to serving this community through J&R Pharmacy, but also to caring deeply for the people who worked alongside him every day. He treated his employees like family, leading with kindness, compassion, patience, and genuine care.

Jeff had a way of making everyone feel valued and supported. Whether he was offering guidance, sharing a laugh, or simply checking in, he made a lasting impact on the lives of so many people. His leadership created a workplace that felt like home, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Outside of the pharmacy, Jeff was devoted to his faith, his family, and his community. The love he had for Sharon, his children, grandchildren, and friends was evident in everything he did.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Jeff’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. As we mourn his loss, we invite all who knew him to share their memories and celebrate the incredible impact he made in our lives and throughout the Marshall County community.
