Been quite a journey for me. After being uprooted from our home, moving across the country and loosing my crossfit family I just started drinking heavily and put my focus elsewhere. The wife and I made a decision to get healthy on Jan 1st. No alcohol for 3 months, still no booze innthe house and only drink now when we go out. Started Detox, used fasting, cleaned up diet, used supplements and peptides, got our blood work cleaned up and started working out again.
Down 28lbs. With significantly more muscle. Wife is down 30+ lbs and is much happier ❤️. Haven't been sub 200 since my competition days. My body is starting to remember, getting is old shape back... and we aren't done.
Not posting this to brag, just wanted to say...
Life is a journey not a destination. Remember that where you're at isn't where you need to stay. We did all this at 50+, it's never over if you don't quit... and even then you can rise again.
