Exciting plant things!
1: the Eleuthro shrub (Eleutherococcus senticosus) is blooming! While the root is used for medicine, the blooms are super cool and indicative of its ginseng family membership. It's a classic "adaptogen" really good for stressed out, overachieving folks, especially those who tend to get sick when stressed.
I've been observing this plant for a while, and I'm pleased to report that it grows well in a variety of conditions and seems both drought and flood tolerant. It's also pretty easy to start from cuttings. I have propagation plans in its future!
2. Our first fig fruit!

Hi folks! I bottled up a bunch of stuff in anticipation of vending at the Wild Indigo Herb Fest, and since that was cancelled, I am offering to you here:

1 oz tinctures (alcohol and water extracts):
hops, California Poppy, Mullein root, St. John's Wort, passionflower, blue vervain, holy basil, catnip, skullcap, ashwaganda, valerian, bitters, elecampane, ginger, milky oats

All of these herbs were grown on my farm in Berea, always using chemical free growing.

Most of my tinctures are made with fresh plants, at various alcohol rations to optimally extract the medicinal components.

I can ship or offer pick in Berea at convenient locations:)

I will add pics to this post, but please let me know if you have any questions about the medicinal qualities of the list above or my growing/medicine making practices.
