The celebration of life for Vallette Stepp was beautiful! Every little detail represented a moment in her life from the intricate handmade blanket that Ms. Stepp had made and given to a friend that was placed on the reception table, to the bowl of Hershey kisses because everytime someone would enter her room she would ask if they wanted a kiss and if they said yes she would hand them a chocolate, to the pink rose petals placed on the tables that representd breast cancer awareness and her time receiving therapy that brought her many new friends and loved ones, to the baby blue cupcakes and balloons that were released in her honor and memory because that was her favorite color. Those details brought Ms. Stepp's presence in the room and as our own Chaplain, Philip Rawley spoke and reflected on her favorite scriptures and talks they had as well as family and friends sharing special memories of her love towards them and the little handmade gifts she gave the event was truly a celebration of life. On behalf of the family, thank you to the Legacy Foundation for helping make this such a special day. @ Asana Hospice & Palliative Care
