This is the part of a full-face refresh that people don’t always see. ✨

For this client, we treated the forehead, nose area, and neck with Botox, then added filler to the cheeks and under eyes.

The goal was to help her look more rested, lifted, and refreshed without making the result feel obvious or overdone.

Keep in mind that Botox takes time to kick in, filler needs time to settle, and the whole look usually comes together over the next couple of weeks.

Botox typically lasts about 3 to 4 months, while fillers can last around 1 to 2 years, depending on the area treated, the product used, and how your body metabolizes it.

For transparency, this appointment was around $3,600.

One thing to know when booking filler is that we plan carefully by area and amount. In this case, we had a small amount of filler left. If she had wanted to use it on her lips, and if it made sense for her anatomy and the product, we could have done that too.

That’s why a consultation matters. It helps us build a plan that fits your goals, your face, and your budget.

Meet Joy, one of our estheticians at Kintsu. ✨

Joy’s love for skincare started long before it became her career.

As a child, she remembers watching her mom’s skincare routine and seeing how those small daily rituals could feel calming, intentional, and confidence-building. Later, while working in dermatology, she saw another side of skin care. She saw how much skin health can affect how someone feels walking through the world.

That stayed with her.

Now, as an esthetician, Joy brings that same care into every treatment room. She knows what it feels like to have a less-than-great experience somewhere, and that is exactly why she is so intentional about making every client feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for.

Her style is warm, honest, and steady. She is the person who will support your skin journey without making it feel overwhelming.

She loves treatments like VI Peel, Glo2, dermaplaning, microneedling, IPL, extractions, and hydrodermabrasion, but what she really loves is helping clients feel more confident in their skin.

We were so happy to be part of Celebrate Davis with the Davis Chamber of Commerce, alongside local businesses, artists, vendors, families, and neighbors.
