MEET THE TEAM: COACH HEATHER

From intern to coach, Heather’s journey is a true Fit Body success story! 💪

Starting as a Wayne State University intern in 2022, Heather fell in love with helping others transform their lives and stayed on as a coach while completing her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology. With certifications in personal training, women’s fitness, and functional aging, she brings both knowledge and experience to every session.

As someone who experienced her own transformation here at Fit Body, Heather understands what it takes to reach your goals and is passionate about helping others do the same. When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her spending time with her husband Matt, their daughter Jac, their dog Kyle, fostering dogs, and enjoying the outdoors.

We’re going back to working on hip flexibility and control with the Standing Straight Leg Kick Out.

✅ Drive the knee up
✅ Kick out and fully extend the leg
✅ Hold for a second at the top
✅ Control the movement on the way back down

Don’t rush through it! Focus on balance, mobility, and owning every position throughout the movement.
