We are meeting so many amazing and great people with no ego or envy in south carolina.
Our new friend mike Genova a very successful martial artist and school owner in South carolina heard my wife will be teaching women self defense and yoga classes so he came over to give us all these yoga mats to help the ladies. We are blessed to have these amazing people in our lives.

The neighborhood kids stopped by with their mama to say hello…They looked around, sized us up, and asked, “Can we help?”...

Community isn’t something you talk about.

It’s something you show up and build. 💙

Yesterday, our new friend did exactly that.

But she didn’t show up just to chit-chat.... she came ready to work! We’re talking dust-busting, organizing, setting up, and helping us get this studio in order.

And.....because she stepped in, we were able to focus on getting the mats down.

Here... your family won’t simply be joining another activity. You’ll be learning from two dedicated Master Instructors with decades of experience and a genuine commitment to knowing, teaching and challenging every student.

Weekly Class Schedule

Monday–Thursday

🥋 5:00–5:45 PM — Ages 9 and under
🥋 6:00–7:00 PM — Ages 10 and up
💪 7:15–8:00 PM — Women’s Workout

Friday

🥋 5:00–6:00 PM — Open Class
🥊 6:00–7:00 PM — Sparring

Classes begin Thursday, October 1st!

Thirty-seven years of raising champions, healthy families and so many lives changed .

So, why does 37 matter?

Because we’re celebrating by opening the door for exactly 37 families to help us build our next chapter in Elgin.

Not 50.
Not 100.
Exactly 37.

Since announcing our plans, we’ve been blessed with open arms, encouraging messages, and so many people welcoming us into the community.

We’re proud to plant new roots in South Carolina, serve families throughout Kershaw County, and become part of what makes this community so special.

We are taking a break from renovations for a well-earned lunch at Blaney's Wings and Grill! Nothing like having great local food right near our new studio. 🙌

COMING SOON is starting to look a whole lot more like ALMOST READY. 🥋

There's no fancy launch photos here because we are just two paint and dirt covered business owners putting in the work to build something we believe families deserve.

The trophies are going up.
The renovations are moving along.
And little by little, this building is becoming exactly what we imagined it.

As much as we loved the Swanky Southern pineapple counter....and honestly, it had personality....it didn’t exactly scream Tae Kwon Do. 😂🍍

So today, the pineapples officially came down and the navy went up!

We also have to give a huge shoutout to the shop owner, Jessica, a wonderful woman whose space we’re now transforming into our new home away from home. She has been incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive through this entire transition. One of the best parts of building something new is realizing you’re not just gaining a building.....you’re gaining new friends along the way.

Little by little, this space is becoming Yousef Tae Kwon Do Family Fitness and Wellness Center…and we cannot wait to welcome the community through these doors! 🥋🌱❤️🤍💙
