I don’t really have a favorite plant but if I would 😉 it might be this one. I am obsessed with how beautiful this foxglove patch is in the garden right now. Especially proud since I grew it from seed last year. Foxgloves are often bi-annual andI have already started to grow new seedlings for next year to keep the magic going. 🪄

This lil fella showed up next to the barn the other day. I would have loved to look at him a little longer but my cat Rosie chased him away. 🐻 🐈‍⬛ 😂

Ah, the rose harvest! Every year, this patch of roses, planted by the former keeper of this garden, keeps growing another foot around the perimeter and bestows us with more scent and beauty, and the perfect way to start the day. 🌹 accompanied by buzzing little mason and sweat bees, rolling around in the golden pollen, we gather the petals and dry them for our teas and prepare them as tincture, glycerite, honey or rose salt. 🌹 Two weeks of morning bliss, reveling in the color and softness of the petals and just the sheer joy of being in the presence of this beautiful plant that carries such big medicine makes my day. Every day. ❤️

This gazebo has been growing on me (literally) over the years. To see the climbers and vines finally making it to the top and blooming after years of patiently gaining ground and height is so satisfying and worth the wait. We might even enjoy some arctic kiwis 🥝 this year if we are lucky. 🌱
