As we step into the next chapter of Atelier Bloom, I wanted to share a quick update on the direction of my work, my focus, and my booking process.
The studio has been undergoing a massive expansion behind the scenes, and with everything that’s coming over the next several months (and years), my schedule is only going to become busier. Because of that, I’m becoming even more selective with the projects I take on.
More than ever, I’m looking for clients who connect with my work, not just the idea of getting a tattoo.
My passion is creating large-scale, custom pieces that allow me to push my artistry and continue evolving my signature style. Freehand florals, peonies, botanicals, wildlife, and custom realism will remain the primary focus of my portfolio moving forward. These are the projects that challenge me creatively and allow me to produce my best work.
As a result, I will generally not be accepting projects such as: cover-ups, reworks, hand/finger tattoos, AI-generated concepts, human portraits, large script/lettering pieces, cartoon designs, or overly simple outline/single line tattoos.
There are many incredibly talented artists at our studio who specialize in those styles, but they are no longer my focus.
I’m also asking everyone to take a little more care when submitting inquiries.
Please read the booking instructions and provide thoughtful information about your project. Tell me what subject matter you’re looking for, why you chose me, what pieces from my portfolio resonate with you, and include reference images that reflect my existing work whenever possible.
Please don’t submit AI-generated reference images or AI-written descriptions filled with generic buzzwords. Those often create unrealistic expectations and rarely communicate what you’re actually looking for. I would much rather receive a short description in your own words than a polished paragraph generated by AI.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me throughout this journey. I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to continue creating work that reflects the next evolution of both my career and Atelier Bloom!
