Hops~For~Hope Fundraiser event at Cahaba Brewery in Birmingham, Alabama was a successful fundraising event! Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, supported the cause and donated to the silent auction. We plan on having more collaborations with the Alabama Pancreas Cancer Research Foundation and UAB’s Pancreatobiliary Disease Center in the future. 💜👏🏼

Tomorrow!! Saturday May 30th (2-6) at Cahaba Brewery in Birmingham!! It’s going to be a lot of fun, for a good cause!! We’re so grateful for our nurses! Especially nurse Angela M. Turner. What a difference she’s made in our son’s TPIAT journey! 💜💜💜

This , we’re taking a moment to celebrate a few truly incredible nurses who were recently honored at our awards celebration. 💜

Nurses are often the steady voices, the comforting presence, and the people patients and families lean on during some of life’s hardest moments.

From supporting patients through pancreatic disease journeys, to advocating for children and families, to leading innovative care that improves lives, their compassion goes far beyond medicine.

To Mikayla, Angie, and Kelly: thank you for the care, empathy, and dedication you bring to this community. Your impact is felt every day by the patients, families, and teams fortunate enough to know you.

The Birmingham Chapter of the National Pancreas Foundation, UAB, and the Alabama Pancreas Cancer Foundation are teaming up for a Hops and Hope fundraising event. There will be food, a silent auction, a tabling event, games, music, and fun at Cahaba Brewery's outside parking space on Saturday, May 30, from 2-6. We're looking for businesses or organizations to donate items or services to our silent auction and to set up for tabling. Having pancreatitis increases your risk for pancreas cancer, but having a genetic mutation that causes pancreatitis greatly increases your risk. These statistics are not something we can settle with. Continue the fight for our future. 💜

Pancreatic cancer remains one of the deadliest cancers, and the numbers tell a difficult story.

• 13% five-year survival rate
• Most cases diagnosed after the disease has already spread
• Over 52,000 deaths each year in the U.S.

Progress is happening, but it’s not happening fast enough.

We need earlier detection.
More research funding.
More awareness.

Because these numbers shouldn’t be acceptable.

Camp Hope is in need of a business to donate water bottles for Camp Hope 2026. Camp is in June in Texas and it's hot.
