Learning to trust yourself is one of the hardest and most freeing things you’ll ever do.
Especially if you’ve spent years second-guessing your decisions, prioritizing everyone else’s comfort, or convincing yourself that staying where you are is safer than stepping into the unknown.
But here’s the thing about growth: you don’t have to feel ready to be ready.
Sometimes trusting yourself means making a decision without knowing exactly how it will turn out. Sometimes it means disappointing someone else instead of continuing to abandon yourself. Sometimes it means recognizing that what once felt safe is now what’s keeping you stuck.
And sometimes, growth isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about finally giving yourself permission to be who you’ve been all along.
You can be scared and still move forward. You can grieve what you’re leaving behind and still know it’s time to go. You can question yourself and still trust that you’re capable of figuring things out.
You don’t need certainty to trust yourself. You need the willingness to believe you’ll find your way, even when things don’t go as planned.
Maybe it’s time to stop waiting for permission to bloom.
