🌫️ A part of your health you may not think about: air quality.
Checking the daily air quality forecast can be just as important as checking the weather.
With the combination of heat, humidity, and extremely poor air quality in our region, consider limiting time outdoors as much as possible—especially if you have asthma, COPD, heart disease, or other chronic conditions.
Today’s Air Quality Forecast:
🔴 Code Red (Unhealthy): Fine particle (PM2.5) pollution is expected to remain at unhealthy levels throughout the day, with periods that may reach 🟣 Code Purple (Very Unhealthy). Light winds will trap pollutants close to the ground, keeping air quality poor. Air quality is expected to be unhealthy through the weekend.
If you need to be outdoors, try to limit strenuous activity and pay attention to symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, wheezing, chest pain, or unusual fatigue.
