We are back to offering free events in the community again! Come join us at the Library in Central Point, Oregon this Saturday evening for a Reflective Journaling Circle based around this weekend's New Moon in Libra.

This new moon provides excellent opportunity to work on balance, harmony, and right relationship with ourselves and those around us. A social air sign, Libra lives for harmonious connection and collaborative relationships. This, along with its desires for justice and beauty make the Libra new moon an opportune time to ask ourselves how we’ve been showing up in community; where our boundaries or relationships need sprucing; how we view our relationship with healthy anger; and what we desire to make more beautiful in the coming six months.

All Circles are free to the public and open to anyone seeking spiritual insight, respectful conversation, genuine connection, and a space to explore what it means to be human. All you need to bring is a journal, your favorite writing utensil, and a loving curiosity toward yourself and fellow circlemates.

What a lovely success for the Talent Harvest Fest! We couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Wagner Plaza Market with SONA! On the business front, it was amazing to connect with such a wonderful community and share what we do with massage and reflexology samples. On the human front, we feel so loved and supported by so many amazing local businesses and other great humans. Thank you for having us Talent OR. It’s nice to be back home.

How is it going beautiful humans? Life By Seasons is back open for services! Southern Oregon get ready for us!

As we continue to shift around, grow, and bring along more community members, we will always reintroduce ourselves. We are Life By Seasons: A Practice In Massage, Self, & Care. As an organization LbS focuses on mobile services and customized therapeutic work to improve 5 main areas of health and wellness: physical, mental/emotional, social, spiritual, and behavioral.

Made up of 2 practitioners Kristen and James, our mission is written in the name of the organization. Life is an ever evolving experience that ebbs and flows into different seasons. For our clients that means we meet you where you are at depending on your season of life. As practitioners that means we get to explore new healing modalities and come back to our community with new skills, new events, and new conversations depending on our season of life.

While Life By Seasons is rounding into 4 years established, we've collected various modalities to offer our clients. At the moment, our season of life is centered around massage therapy and reflexology, while offering services such as craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, reiki, guided meditations, and life coaching. And it doesn't just end with services...

Instead of using the traditional terminologies of calling it a "business", we prefer to say "organization". This important distinction is our way of inclusion. You are just as involved as we are in your health and wellness. This central idea is where we fall into community events! The social health aspect is very important to us and love to host journal circles, educational seminars, group meditations, and free social media challenges focused around easy wellness routines.

September seems to consistently be a time of change for James and myself each year.

In September six years ago, I began massage school at Carlson College in Iowa.

Five years ago, James moved to Tennessee in September.

Four years ago, James and I made plans to move from Tennessee to Oregon in September.

Three years ago in September, we moved from Dubuque, IA to the Quad Cities, and picked up the keys to our first house and first clinic space together.

Septembers in the Quad Cities brought new growth and ideas for our business, as well as opportunities to get more involved with our community.

This September we finally made the move to Oregon. James is now in his first week of massage school, and I begin work at the end of this week. This year our September holds true to the back to school feel - an opportunity to learn and grow not only through our business, but also as beings having this temporary human experience.

I couldn't be more proud of the intention, love, effort, and action we've put into making this big change this September. A move that feels 4+ years in the making, it is so exciting to soak in this long-awaited chapter of change as it unfolds right in front of us. I am honored, hopeful, and curious about this new season of our lives, and I will always take a moment to honor the Septembers that led us here. 🤍

Only 3 appointment times open between now and Monday July 27th!

James has filled his schedule for the next two weeks, and his next opening is in the first full week of August. When you see him next, he'll be a married man!

Kristen has three spaces left between now and July 27th: 1.30pm and 5.30pm this Friday, July 17th, and one 6pm on Tuesday, July 21st.

Time is of the essence! After we come back from our wedding, we have just three weeks before our move to Oregon. So if you've been wanting to see either James or Kristen for a session, now is your chance!

✨ 7 WEEKS LEFT ✨

Our official move date is August 14th and massages are discounted for a moving sale! We are very excited to take our practice to the west coast and equally sad to be leaving the quad cities area.
