hair shedding, brain fog, fatigue - i spent so long blaming stress and hormones.

turns out my omega-3 index was 4.5% when it should be above 5.5%. i had no idea until i tested.

lemon balm is my most-reached-for herb and it’s not close
as a clinical herbalist i have a full dispensary. melissa officinalis still wins for stress and anxiety

why it works: it inhibits gaba transaminase, raising gaba naturally. calmer nervous system, no sedation, no fog
antispasmodic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory. rosmarinic acid does a lot of the work

tea tip: fresh handful, 160-180°f, 5-10 minutes. boiling kills the volatile oils

i believe your nervous system and belief system are the main drivers of illness or wellness

yes, what we put on our bodies, in our bodies, and breathe into our bodies matter. no, we cannot control it all, but, yes, we can do things to mitigate it.

no, you don’t need to spend $$ on everything promoted to you on social media. just because a supplement helped one person doesn’t mean it’s your cure-all. every*body* is unique with unique needs.

question everything and everyone.

diagnoses are not personality traits
living in fear of “toxic” things is toxic
have hobbies outside of “living healthily”

find the joy in the little things every. single. day.

your body doesn’t separate “health choices” from “life choices.” it receives all of it 👐

this is why you can be doing everything “right” with food and still feel off. healing asks you to look at the whole picture, not just your plate.

you can detox all you want, but if you’re in a toxic relationship, friendship, career, home… you ain’t getting better, babe

so if you’ve been doing the work and still not feeling how you want to feel, ask yourself: what else is my body trying to process right now?

the choices you make today, in every area of your life, are shaping your health tomorrow.

Well, this sucks

Lots of disappointing news recently! From Alec’s ice cream quitting sourcing from organic, grass-fed, and regenerative certified ingredients, to Epic Provisions getting bought out by General Mills who then cut the regenerative bison program short, to now SHEIN buying Everlane.
