This client underwent 6 laser sessions and 3 keloid injections with no noticeable improvement before coming to us.

What many people don’t realize about laser treatments for scars:

Laser treatments can sometimes trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in the surrounding skin.

Because laser energy can affect tissue beyond the scar itself, achieving precise treatment boundaries can be challenging. This may create a darker shadow or contrast around the scar, making it appear even more noticeable.

Our approach focuses on the scar tissue itself, its texture, and its visibility while minimizing unnecessary disruption to the surrounding healthy skin.

A thin, flat scar in the first few weeks does not guarantee that’s how it will heal.
One of the biggest misconceptions about surgical scars is assuming that how a scar looks immediately after surgery is how it will look permanently.
The truth is, there is no way to predict exactly how your skin will heal.
A scar can appear thin, flat, and barely noticeable in the early stages, only to become thicker, raised, darker, or wider as the healing process progresses.
Scar formation is a complex process influenced by genetics, skin type, inflammation, tension, and your body’s individual healing response.
Scar healing is measured in months, not weeks.

One of our more challenging cases: hyperpigmented scarring following a breast lift.

The client had previously received cortisone injections, which caused thinning of the scar tissue and made this case significantly more complex to treat.

Working with compromised, delicate skin requires an entirely different level of precision, patience, and expertise.

One of the most difficult scar cases we’ve ever treated.

These scars developed after a bacterial infection following mesotherapy injections. After being told there was nothing more that could be done, our client began flying from New York to Toronto for treatment with us.
