The start of a new school year brings a lot of firsts for our kids: new teachers, new friends, new routines, and, for some, the start of high school.
It’s also a great time to start conversations about the choices and pressures they may face. You don’t need to wait for a difficult moment to talk about it. Use the start of the school year as an opportunity to help your teen think through how they might respond to peer pressure, set boundaries, and feel confident making their own choices.
We won’t always be there when these moments happen. But we can help our kids feel prepared before they do. This school year, make room for the conversations that matter. ❤️
