I think most people, when they reach remission, move on from these groups. That chapter in their life is over and it's time to focus on new things. Which is totally understandable. I do not fault anyone for that. But, I'm still here. Six years into remission, I'm still here to offer support, a shoulder to cry on, a sounding board, a resource for what it's like to treat Lyme disease. I see you. I know what you're going through and I want to help, to the best of my ability. That's one of the reasons I wrote this book. I wanted to share my experience in hopes that you would feel less alone and scared than I felt as I navigated treating this horrendous disease.
