What are you grateful for? A couple years ago a dear loved one of mine was in a very dark place and struggling with clinical depression. She was deciding daily whether or not to stay on this earth or to cut things short... and now two years later, she still struggles at times, but there has been a profound change that has come over her and she is able to look forward with hope for her future. I am unspeakably grateful she decided to stay and share her gifts with a world that has more light because of her.

Being present with someone in moments of pain often reflects more love, and is more helpful, than trying to fix what is broken.

To love anyone well, including ourselves, we must be vulnerable and present.

We should never require others to pretend to be what they are not yet in order to "earn" value, respect, or the right to be seen.

Trish joined the Havre MEC team in March, 2026. She brings over 18 years of experience in real estate-related operations, compliance, and investment advice. She is passionate about simplifying complex situations to create a clear path forward, helping others reach their personal and professional goals.

When she’s not working, Trish enjoys spending time with her son, ​her three dogs, staying grounded in her faith, and building meaningful connections within the Havre community.

Danielle joined the Butte MEC team in April 2026.

Danielle brings several years of experience supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, helping them build skills and work toward greater independence and success.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her two young children, who keep her very busy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, gardening, and creating new experiences and memories with her family.

How do you see yourself? Is it accurate? Is it helpful? Is it kind? Is grace part of the reflection you extend to yourself, or only to others? And what is at the tip of the root of self image?

It may be worth considering whether we are holding up cognitive distortions (mirrors) that others have shamed us to believe so that we can no longer easily see the beauty that is our true inheritance.

This YouTuber states: "People on a human-level don't matter to companies so why give our humanity to these companies? Why am I not giving my humanity to the people that do matter - which are my closest loved ones?" Well said! The sacred part of us, "our humanity" belongs to ourself and our loved ones only. However, I'm not sure where to place some types of jobs, like those who are artists, those who are in helping professions, or those researching treatments for cancer - perhaps, some work requires that we give humanity, and by so doing, are made larger, not smaller in that exchange?

I know. I wouldn’t just stop working because my boss passed on. I would go pay respects at the funeral, but my life doesn’t stop either. I don’t expect my boss to mourn me either, but they know my family comes first.
