💜 Why Progesterone Is My Favorite Hormone
I started taking bioidentical progesterone at age 44, and it was a game changer for me.
I sleep better. I have more patience with my kids. I feel less anxious and less overwhelmed. Let's just say the whole family notices a BIG difference :)
What many women don't realize is that progesterone is often the FIRST hormone to decline—sometimes years before menopause.
Common signs of low progesterone include:
• Heavier periods
• Anxiety or irritability
• PMS
• Breast tenderness
• Difficulty sleeping
• Waking up between 2-4 AM
Many women assume these changes are just part of getting older. They aren't always.
Hormones affect nearly every aspect of how we feel, and you don't have to wait until menopause to start paying attention to them. In fact, addressing hormone imbalances earlier may provide greater long-term benefits than waiting until symptoms become severe.
Not sure where to start? We offer a basic hormone panel for just $142 out of pocket.
This is the first post in a new series where I'll be breaking down hormones and lab markers that can have a huge impact on your sleep, mood, energy, weight, and overall health. Next week, we'll tackle another important hormone!
