💜We Wear Purple to Honor and Stand with Survivors of Domestic Violence💜

Why do we wear purple?
🟪The purpose of wearing purple is to highlight that domestic violence remains a significant social and public health issue, affecting individuals across all backgrounds.
🟪It serves as a reminder that millions, particularly women and children, are impacted by domestic violence.
🟪It communicates to victims and survivors that they are not alone or overlooked, and that support is available for them and their families.
🟪It aims to raise public awareness about domestic violence and demonstrate solidarity with survivors.

🧥❄️ Let’s SHARE THE WARMTH together this winter! 🧥❄️

No one should have to face the cold alone. That’s why Guthrie Tioga/Chenango HFNY PACT is hosting an Adult Coat Drive to support the incredible parents, caregivers, and families in our community. While little ones often get the spotlight during winter giving, let’s remember the grown-ups and older kids who work so hard to care for them! 🤗💙

We’re collecting new or gently used adult winter coats (men’s & women’s sizes), plus a limited number of socks and gloves for families. All donations should be clean and in good condition. If you or someone you know needs an adult-sized coat, please reach out—we’re here to help! ❄️🧥

This October, we encourage everyone to wear pink, share stories of hope, and support meaningful action. Let’s honor the strength of survivors and remember those we’ve lost by spreading awareness and advocating for early detection.
