May Rescuer Recap

We trained over 100 students in CPR and First Aid across Alabama.

We helped Pelham First Baptist Church upgrade 2 existing AEDs and add 2 new AED units to better protect their staff, members, and visitors.

We’re incredibly grateful for the businesses, churches, and organizations that trust Rescuer for their training and AED needs. Every class taught and every AED placed helps create a safer community and increases the chances of a positive outcome when an emergency occurs.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It’s a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy came at a cost paid by heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward.

Rescuer is excited to announce that we are now officially an HSI Training Center.

This is a big step for our team and allows us to continue expanding the training opportunities we provide while helping organizations stay OSHA compliant through quality CPR, First Aid, and safety education.

It also gives us the opportunity to support current and future HSI instructors by providing resources, guidance, and a home to grow within the HSI system.

We’re proud to have partnered with the City of Helena to provide AEDs for their new City Hall, helping protect both the employees who work there every day and the citizens visiting the facility.

Having life-saving equipment readily available can make all the difference in an emergency, and we’re incredibly thankful for the City of Helena trusting Rescuer to be part of this project.

There’s something really cool about seeing this come full circle.

Back in the Fall 2025 Alabama Fire College Recruit School, Blake Smith who is on the far left was selected as a recipient of the Rescuer Scholarship. Today, he’s officially serving his community with Demopolis Fire Rescue.

One of the best parts about the scholarship program is getting to keep up with our recipients after recruit school and watching where the fire service takes them. Seeing Blake now out serving his community makes us proud and reminds us exactly why we started this scholarship.

April has come to an end and here’s a quick recap.

We taught classes all over the state and helped place multiple AEDs and Rescuer First Aid Kits into the hands of teams, giving them the tools to respond when it matters most.

We had the opportunity to award the Rescuer Scholarship, continuing our mission to support the next generation of firefighters.

Every class and every AED placed means more people are ready to step up in an emergency. We’re grateful for every team that trusted us this month and the support of those around us.

We want to give a huge shoutout to Ozark Striping for partnering with Rescuer to build out their AED program.

After completing CPR/First Aid training with us, they didn’t stop there. They invested in multiple Stryker CR2 units and placed them in their office, shop, and job site vehicles so their crews have access no matter where they are.

That’s what it looks like to truly take care of your people. This was an awesome project to be a part of and we’re proud to partner with a team that backs up safety with action.

Big congratulations to this round’s Rescuer Scholarship recipients, Evan Corbett and Nicholas Horton.

Both of these guys earned a $1,500 scholarship through their hard work, attitude, and commitment during their time in recruit school. Their instructors recognized them for how they showed up on the drill field, in the classroom, and as leaders among their peers.

This is exactly why we started the Rescuer Scholarship. To support those putting in the work to serve their communities the right way.

Evan and Nicholas, we’re proud of you both. Keep showing up and doing the job the right way.

We’re proud to announce that Rescuer is now a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama.

At Rescuer, we’re all about helping companies build safer, more prepared teams through CPR training and AED programs. Joining ABC Alabama was an easy choice. It puts us around people who care about doing things the right way, taking care of their teams, and continuing to learn and grow.

We’re excited to get involved, build strong relationships, and keep supporting the construction industry with life-saving training and equipment. It’s a breath of fresh air being surrounded by like-minded professionals who truly care about their people.
