It’s hard to believe it’s already been two weeks since Journey of Hope, our favorite night of the year! 🎪✨

But Journey of Hope is more than one magical night, it’s a celebration of the incredible people who make up the United Ability community all year round. What a gift it was to gather together and celebrate our families and participants, honor those who make a difference, and recognize the dedicated staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners who make our programs and services possible.

Together with your help we:

🎉 celebrated 3 incredible honorees
🎟️ sold 64 auction items
💙 had 196 employees and their guests in attendance
✨ were joined by 550+ community members
🎪 And have raised over $423,700 so far for United Ability!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s Journey of Hope possible. And while the circus may only perform with us one night a year, your impact can continue all year long.

Every gift helps provide services, resources, and opportunities for children, adults, and families in our community. So keep the journey going, and head to: https://bit.ly/4gJ611X to donate to Fund A Need today!

Thank you for celebrating with us, believing in our mission, and being such an important part of the United Ability community. We can’t wait to see you again next year! 💙

On Saturday, more than 500 people joined us to celebrate the 10th Annual Journey of Hope! 💙

As part of the celebration, we had the opportunity to recognize The Little family, whose journey with United Ability embodies resilience, growth, and the lasting impact of early services that empower families throughout their lives. Michael and Jessica Little first connected with United Ability in 2020, when their twin daughters, Harper and Sarah, were born. Since then, they have been a cherished part of the United Ability community.

When asked about how United Ability has helped their family, Jessica Little responded "The team at United Ability treated Sarah and Harper like kids first. They gave them the support they needed to show us what they were capable of, and my hope is that every family who needs it gets to experience it, too.”

At United Ability, we strive to put our participants and their families first in everything we do. The Little family reminds us why that commitment matters, and why, together, we can create a future filled with hope, possibility, and opportunity for every family we serve. 💙✨

On Saturday, more than 500 people joined us to celebrate the 10th Annual Journey of Hope! 💙

As part of the celebration, we had the opportunity to recognize this year’s Dr. E Award of Inspiration recipient, Nancy Gardner!

Nancy has been a part of the United Ability family for 42 years, and throughout her remarkable career, she has touched countless lives through her compassion, dedication, and unwavering belief in the people United Ability serves.

Her impact has reached thousands of people, from the staff she mentored, to the participants and families she walked hand in hand with over the years. Nancy’s legacy is woven into the fabric of United Ability and the lives of so many in our community.

If you have a favorite Nancy story, a lesson she taught you, or a special memory you shared with her, we’d love for you to share it with us in the comments below! ✨
