Lakeshore Foundation is a fitness, recreation, sport, research and advocacy organization for people with physical disabilities located in Birmingham, AL. Lakeshore's Lima Foxtrot programs serve our nation's injured military.

And just like that, the Birmingham 2026 World Boccia Challenger has come to a close! After 5 days of intense competition, we concluded the day with our Pairs/Teams medal ceremony and the closing ceremony. Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches and staff on an incredible competition, and thank you to all our volunteers, staff and fans who made the first Challenger on U.S. soil in nearly a decade a success! The pairs and teams competition at the 2026 Birmingham World Boccia Challenger is underway, and all the teams are bringing the 🔥! In BC4 pairs, USA remains undefeated while Mexico will take the court for the first time tomorrow. Brazil and Peru both remain undefeated in BC3 pairs, while Mexico and El Salvador have yet to see a loss in BC1/2 teams.
