Birmingham Food not Bombs Food is a right, not a privilege! Every Sunday for years our group served vegetarian food at 1pm at 5 points South. Join us!

I want to preserve this page, for photos and stories. But there is now another group for you to contact, Food Not Bombs Birmingham. Every Saturday we serve healthy vegetarian food at 12pm at 5 points South. We are about having pick-nicks, using public space, creating a open and welcoming environment for the whole community.

I know of no active local FNB group at this time.

Start a new group under the FNB name at will. Please.

I was very disappointed to discontinue ours. I will offer advice based on what I experienced in our years of Sunday picnics.

While we are getting organized again several expenses are coming out of pocket. Getting cooking gear, dishes, and ingredients to supplement what we are saving from the dumpsters and getting from farmers. It all adds up!

We could use some serving utensils and containers, as well as cooking utensils, plastic plates and cups too!

$Bhamfnb is our cashapp. We would like to be able to buy take-home boxes too. As well as some spices and other misc supplies.
