Meet Alexis, our newest aesthetician at Skin Wellness! ✨

After completing her training at Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute, Alexis found her passion in helping women feel more confident in their skin. Inspired by her mother’s journey with PCOS, she saw firsthand how closely skin health and self-confidence can be connected. That experience inspired her to become an aesthetician and provide personalized, results-driven care for women navigating hormonal skin concerns.

Outside the clinic, Alexis loves spending time with family and friends, catching live concerts, and exploring local spots around Birmingham.

We’re so excited to have Alexis on the Skin Wellness team and can’t wait for you to get to know her! 🤍

✨Now Enrolling for a new Clinical Research Study ✨ Skin Wellness Dermatology is currently enrolling participants for a research study evaluating test products used in conjunction with the PicoSure® laser.

We’re looking for women and men ages 18–65 with Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI who have mild to moderate pigmentation concerns, including:
• Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
• Post-inflammatory erythema (PIE)
• Dark spots or sunspots
• Uneven skin tone
• Global hyperpigmentation
• Lentigines (age spots)
