On Monday, we were honored to celebrate the 251st Birthday of the United States Army and Flag Day with a special program recognizing the service and sacrifices of our military members, veterans, spouses, and surviving spouses.

The afternoon featured patriotic music, the Pledge of Allegiance, a presentation on the history of Flag Day, recognition of U.S. Army veterans and their families, and an inspiring message from CAPT Mike Gibbs, US Army.

A special thank you to Sharon O’Bryant, 1st LT Pat Fiol, COL (Ret.) Jerry Picantine, LT J.G. Bob Batson, Jerry Bullock, Stars & Stripes Committee, Resident Services Department and all who participated in making this event so meaningful.

We are grateful for the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of those who have served our nation. Thank you for helping preserve the freedoms we enjoy every day.
