Join us for a special evening in Birmingham, Alabama (Sept 12) as we screen the powerful documentary in collaboration with and the .community in Asheville, NC.
The Last Ecstatic Days is a thought-provoking documentary that follows the journey of Ethan, a man diagnosed with glioblastoma, who bravely allowed his final days to be filmed, offering an intimate and unflinching look at how he navigated the end of his life with grace, acceptance, and deep spiritual reflection. This film sheds light on the universal human experience of death and the varied ways we find meaning in our final days.
Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion titled “End of Life Care: Cultural and Spiritual Considerations,” featuring Aditi Sethi and other experts in the field who will share insights and answer questions on how we can honor these profound moments.
Tickets are donation-based, with proceeds supporting end-of-life doula education here in Birmingham, helping to foster a community that is compassionate and well-prepared to care for those transitioning.
Save the date and come be part of the conversation. Link in bio. 💚
