This position offers:

• 3–4 night shifts per week with consistent scheduling
• Competitive RN pay

Sometimes “baby had a good feed” isn’t quite enough information.

A weighted feed allows us to obtain a pre-feed and post-feed weight to help estimate how much milk baby transferred at the breast during that feeding.

Why might that be helpful?

• Baby seems to latch well but is milk actually transferring?
• Parents are worried about intake
• Feeds are prolonged or baby tires quickly
• There are concerns about breastfeeding effectiveness
• We’re following feeding alongside weight and diaper output
• Mom simply needs more objective information about how a feed is going

And importantly: we don’t treat one number as the whole story (every feed is different).

Weighted feeds are one data point. We still look at the entire baby. feeding quality, latch, swallowing, hydration, output, behavior and weight trajectory.

Because concierge newborn care should be more than helping you get through the night. Your NP is a text away- and comes over with the toolkit at your request.

I’m an NP so let me get on a soap box. Research consistently links poor postpartum sleep with higher rates of depressive symptoms, and sleep-focused interventions have been shown to improve postpartum depressive symptoms. This is a huge conversation in light of current events and discussion of postpartum mental health.

That doesn’t mean sleep prevents postpartum depression or anxiety but it DOES mean protecting maternal sleep deserves to be part of the postpartum plan.

This is why I encourage families to plan for support before baby arrives, not once everyone is already running on empty.
