✨ What Lies Beneath the Noise ✨
In order to understand how your mind works, you must learn to eliminate distractions. You have to become comfortable sitting in silence, away from the constant noise and demands of the world around you.
When you quiet the external noise, you become more aware of what is happening within. You begin to notice what still hurts, what still needs your attention, and what areas of your life may need healing. You may even reconnect with dreams, goals, or desires that you set aside long ago.
Most importantly, creating space for silence allows you to become more attentive to God’s voice and guidance. While God can speak at any time, removing distractions often helps us hear Him more clearly.
Put the phone down. Turn on Do Not Disturb. Step away from social media. Turn off the television. Give yourself permission to simply be still.
As the noise settles, what has been buried beneath the distractions may begin to reveal itself. Awareness increases. Clarity grows. Focus returns.
Try setting aside 30 minutes to an hour each day for quiet reflection, prayer, and stillness. Pay attention to what surfaces. You may discover that some of the answers you’ve been searching for were already within reach—you just needed the space to hear them.
