A beautiful day in the Founders Garden! 🌿🌸

Thank you to The Bisbee Bloomers for including our Founders Garden in this year’s Garden Tour. We’re grateful for all the work that goes into making this such a wonderful community event.

A very special thank you to our amazing docents who volunteered their time to give tours, share information about the garden, and warmly welcome everyone who came through. Your knowledge, friendliness, and enthusiasm helped make the day extra special!

And thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit the Founders Garden. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying this special space.

Watching a group of children take a pool ball and leave his daughter Morgan standing alone broke Gordon Hartman’s heart—and sparked a revolution.

Haunted by her look, he sold his San Antonio homebuilding business in 2005 for $51 million.

He established a foundation and invested $34 million to build Morgan’s Wonderland, opening the 25-acre theme park in 2010.

Designed alongside doctors and therapists, it features wheelchair carousels, wide jungle gyms, braille games, and table-height sandboxes.

Admission is completely free for anyone with a disability; everyone else pays. Proving true inclusion, three out of four visitors have no disability.

Now 30, Morgan’s inspiring legacy has drawn guests from 67 countries, expanding to include a $17 million water park, a 102-acre camp, and an accessible hotel.
