Autistic Pride Day!

June 18, 2026, is Autistic Pride Day!

Autistic Pride Day is a time to recognize and celebrate autistic individuals and the diversity of neurodivergent experiences. It is also an opportunity to promote acceptance, understanding, and inclusion in all areas of life. Autistic Pride Day is both a celebration and a reminder: Everyone deserves to be accepted, supported, and included in their communities.

Happy Autistic Pride Day!

The Housing Choice Voucher Program (often called Section 8) helps low-income individuals and families, older adults, veterans, and people with disabilities afford safe, stable housing in their communities.

Rather than providing housing directly, the program helps participants pay a portion of their rent, giving them the flexibility to choose a home that best meets their needs. Participants typically contribute a portion of their income toward rent, while the voucher helps cover the remaining approved cost.

Access to affordable housing supports independence, stability, and opportunity, helping North Dakotans live, work, and thrive in the communities they call home.
