But underneath all the fun is something incredibly important.
CDFNE provides specialized forensic medical care to survivors across western and central North Dakota. Our Williston team is here to make sure survivors in the region have access to skilled, compassionate, trauma-informed care when they need it.

A heartfelt thank you to the Mandan Kiwanis for their generous donation to Central Dakota Forensic Nurse Examiners!

Because of your support, we were able to purchase enough blankets to keep both of our Bismarck exam rooms stocked for the remainder of 2025.

When survivors come to us for a forensic medical exam, our trauma-informed approach is centered on helping them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. One simple but meaningful way we do that is by offering a soft blanket instead of a hospital sheet. It provides warmth, comfort, and dignity during what is often one of the most difficult moments of a person's life. These blankets also become theirs to keep.
