Your healing is not hopeless.

The human body is incredibly adaptable. Like, incredibly. Your brain is capable of changing throughout your entire life, your nervous system is constantly learning from your experiences, and your tissues are continually responding to movement, stress, rest, and everything else you ask your body to navigate.

There’s also this really fascinating concept called biotensegrity, which is basically a very science-y way of saying that your body doesn’t function as a bunch of separate pieces. Everything is connected through this constantly changing system of tension and support. So when something changes in one place, it can influence what’s happening somewhere else.

This is one of the reasons I have so much hope for people who have felt stuck in their bodies for a long time. We tend to assume that because something has been this way for years, this must just be how our body is now. But your body has spent those same years adapting to whatever it has been experiencing. And adaptability works both ways.

And life gives us plenty to adapt to. Motherhood. Marriage. Stress. Work. Building a business, growing a family, walking through hard things and really beautiful things. Every season brings its own shifts, but at every point, there is an opportunity for healing. Sometimes big, sometimes so small you almost miss it.

You move a little easier, so you start moving more. You’re carrying less tension, so you sleep better. You sleep better, so you handle stress differently. One little shift gives your body an opportunity for another one, and then another.

This is also why I don’t expect one adjustment to do the trick. I’m much more interested in what happens when we consistently give your brain and body new experiences and the opportunity to adapt to them.

Your body is not a finished product. It is responding, learning, changing and adapting every single day. And that means wherever you are today, there is still room for healing.

little moments at luv; the ones that are hard to capture in a photo, but somehow make this place what it is.

You walk into our studio and it doesn’t really feel like a doctor’s office. It feels a little more like walking into someone’s living room.

It’s cozy and fresh and full of life. There are kids playing on the floor and babies being held. Someone is telling me about their week while I adjust them. One mom is feeding her baby and another is finally getting a few minutes to herself.

There are growing bellies and brand new babies. Families coming in together and women finding pieces of themselves again.

There’s laughter. There are hard conversations. There are “wait, I have to tell you what happened” conversations before you even make it to the table.

Some days are quiet. Some are a little chaotic. Sometimes appointments overlap and somehow everyone just becomes part of the room.

And I love that.

LUV is so much more than a place where people come to get adjusted. It’s a place where people get to know each other. Where you don’t have to rush out the door. Where I get to know your family, your story, your seasons, and all the little things happening in between.

Yes, there is a whole lot of healing happening here. But there’s also a whole lot of life happening here.

And I think that’s one of my favorite parts of all of this.

Come as you are. Stay for awhile. 🤎

There are a lot of ways to practice chiropractic. This is the way that feels like mine.

I care about how you’re feeling when you walk through the door. I remember the things you tell me. I want to know about the wins, the hard seasons, the pregnancies, the babies, the breakthroughs, and the days you just need a little extra care.

I’ve never wanted this to be a place where you come in, get adjusted, and leave.

I want you to feel known here.

And when I think about the things people say to me over and over again, these are the ones I’m most proud of:

“I never feel rushed here.”
“You actually listen to me.”
“I feel safe here.”
“You remember everything.”
“I feel like you actually care.”
“This doesn’t feel like a doctor’s office.”
“I can finally exhale when I’m here.”
“You make me feel like I’m not crazy.”
“I’ve never had a chiropractor explain things like this.”
“I wish every provider made me feel this heard.”

Of course I care about the results. I care deeply about helping your body heal and function the way it was designed to.

But I’m also really proud that people leave here feeling cared for, not just treated.

That’s the kind of practice I always wanted to build. And it’s the kind I hope I never stop protecting. 🤎

Two years of LUV.

It’s hard to explain how much this space means to me.

When I opened LUV, I had a vision, but I had no idea what these last two years would actually hold.

I knew I wanted my care to feel different. I wanted people to walk into a place that felt calm. A place where they didn’t feel rushed. A place where they could finally exhale, ask questions, and have permission to feel every part of healing.

I wanted people to leave feeling cared for, not just treated.

What I didn’t expect was how much this place would shape me, too.

Over the last two years, I’ve had the privilege of walking with so many of you through some of life’s biggest moments. I’ve celebrated positive pregnancy tests, cared for growing bellies, met your brand new babies, watched families reconnect, and seen people begin to feel like themselves again.

I’ve also had the privilege of sitting with people through heartbreak, uncertainty, loss, and stress that had nothing to do with why they originally scheduled an appointment.

And still, that’s one of the greatest gifts this profession has given me.

I get a front row seat to people’s lives. Not just their pain or symptoms, but their stories.

LUV was always meant to be so much more than a chiropractic office. It was designed to be a place where people could simply be human.

It is such an honor to witness that every single day.

As we step into year three, I’m much less interested in becoming a bigger practice and much more committed to continuing to be a place that loves people well.

That will always be the goal.

To create a space where people feel safe. Where healing isn’t rushed. Where families know they’re welcome. Where your story matters just as much as the reason you walked through the door.

To every patient who has trusted me, every family who has supported this little dream, and every person who has shared my name with someone they love, thank you.

You’ve given me the opportunity to do work that genuinely means something to me.

I don’t take that lightly.

Happy 2nd birthday, LUV. ♥️

I can’t wait to see what God has in store for year three.

healing isn’t always pretty. real nervous system work is consistent, often quiet, and it happens from the inside out.

most of the time, what you’re working against isn’t just stress or pain. it’s patterns your nervous system learned through survival. Like tight shoulders, trouble sleeping, anxiety that shows up even when nothing is wrong. or even that low hum you’ve just started to call your personality.

so we go there on purpose. we intentionally create space for the parts of healing that are slow, unsexy, and hard to explain. i believe healing that actually holds has to be built in the unglamorous middle, not just celebrated at the finish line.

the middle looks like showing up when you don’t feel different yet. it looks like your body slowly learning that it’s safe. it looks like less reactivity, better sleep, and a breath that finally goes all the way down. the middle is full of things that are hard to photograph and harder to explain.

that’s the work that happened here. unglamorous, unhurried, and worth every bit of it.

introducing, the garden.

Over the last two year, I’ve sat with so many women carrying more than just physical symptoms. Women navigating stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, survival mode, hormonal shifts, motherhood, mental load, grief, tension, disconnection from themselves… all while continuing to show up for everyone around them.

It became evident that somewhere between living life and caring for everyone else, many of those women stopped feeling truly cared for themselves.

What began happening at luv was deeper conversation. Longer appointments. More listening. Deeper nervous system work. Space was created for women to soften, process, ask questions, feel supported, and heal in a way that felt intentional instead of rushed.

Throughout scripture, gardens are places where God meets people, restores them, and reminds them they are cared for. They are places of nourishment, pruning, rest, and fruitfulness, a place where living things are cared for intentionally.

Healing happens this way, too.

Not through force, perfection, or constant striving, but through consistent support, safety, nourishment, and space to grow slowly and deeply.

But I believe our relationship with healing is deeply untended.

The Garden was created for this purpose.

Not as a replacement for chiropractic care, but as a deeper expression of it. This is a healing membership for women rooted in nervous system support, restoration, intentional care, and tending to the body gently through every season of womanhood.

This is the direction I feel called to take LUV. It is the kind of care I want to keep creating; a space where women feel safe enough to heal deeply while still fully living the life God has called them to.

Applications for The Garden are now open through the link in bio. Because of the intentionality of this space, only a small number of women will be accepted each month. ✨

For Mother’s Day; Thank you for letting me witness your lives so closely, for trusting me with pieces of your story, and for allowing me to care for you while you spend so much of your life caring for everyone else.

I have learned that motherhood is not one single experience. It is joy and grief. Strength and softness. Holding on and letting go. It exists in women raising babies, longing for babies, grieving babies, nurturing others, and carrying love that has nowhere visible to land.

This community continues to inspire me. The women I care for inspire me daily with the way they continue showing up, loving deeply, and moving through seasons that often ask more of them than anyone sees.

Thank you for building this space alongside motherhood. Thank you for healing with me, learning beside me, and reminding me over and over again how powerful women truly are.

Happy Mother’s Day to you 🤎

I was inspired by a conversation this week about honoring and caring for the women we love well.

Mother’s Day can hold so many emotions for women. For some, it looks like little hands and hearts full of laughter and joy. For others, it carries longing, grief, exhaustion, transition, healing, or the quiet weight of being the one everyone leans on.

I continue to think about how deeply women deserve to feel cared for, especially mothers. My mission is to convey this message through the work I do.

So this year, I created these gift vouchers for the women in your life. A wife. A mother. A friend. A daughter. A woman navigating a hard season. Or even yourself.

This voucher is simply an invitation into intentional, nervous system centered care at LUV. A space to slow down, breathe deeper, and feel supported.

There is no purchase necessary to claim one. You are welcome to gift the voucher as is, or you can choose to prepay for someone consultation if you would like.

I would love to personalize these for you with a handwritten “to” and “from” message before pickup or emailing them over digitally.

Vouchers must be claimed by 05/15 but may be used anytime through the end of June.

Send me a message if you would like one made for someone you love and Happy Mother’s Day. 🤍
