Sunbathing your produce.
Every cell in every being (us, animals, plants, etc) has a circadian clock. Rhythms that work with the sun and seasons. Just like with us, if our circadian rhythms get "off" we don't function optimally - it can aid in leading to mineral deficiencies, and if it is allowed to go too long it can lead to dis-ease.
As part of keeping our bodies healthy, we need to eat healthy foods. That doesn't just mean organic. Optimally, we eat locally grown and raised foods. Whole foods. Grown without pesticides, gmo's or unnatural growing methods (ie. not feeding cows grains). And they have optimal circadian cellular health. So, avoiding eggs or chickens that live indoors in tight quarters and never see the light of day. Avoid that.
When we can't grow everything sometimes we do have to rely on store bought items. (Avoid if you can, though!). So, what can you do?
Sunbathe your produce.
It is proven that when the sun aids in ripening your fruits and veggies - it can increase the vitamin d, antioxidants, and it keeps that veggie or fruit's circadian wellness in balance.
Your body will thank you!
