A special thank you to the coaches and staff for recognizing that you're building so much more than football players. You're building young men of character, teaching kindness, and showing them the importance of making a difference in the lives of others. 🏆 Twin County Chamber of Commerce Large Business of the Year! 🏆

Every great story starts somewhere, and ours started with one man, one vision, and one group home. ❤️

What began as Nick Avila’s vision to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities has grown into something truly special. That one group home has become seven, with an eighth scheduled to open in early 2027. Along the way, we have expanded to include a Community Engagement Program and a thriving Day Support Program that, in just over a year, has grown to serve nearly 70 individuals in our community. And we're not finished! In Fall 2028, we look forward to opening the Twin Counties' first private day school for students with disabilities, Avila Academy.

But tonight isn't just about how much we've grown. It's about WHY we've grown and the people who have made that growth possible.

It's about a man who believed our community deserved more opportunities for individuals with disabilities. It's about a team of dedicated employees who show up every day with compassion, patience, and purpose. It's about the individuals and families who trust us to be part of their lives. And it's about a community that has supported us every step of the way.

Tonight, we are incredibly honored and humbled to be recognized as the Twin County Chamber of Commerce Large Business of the Year.

While this award recognizes our business, we know that our greatest accomplishments will never be measured by the number of homes we operate, the programs we offer, or the buildings we open. They will always be measured by the lives we touch and the opportunities we create.

To our employees, our families, our community partners, and everyone who has believed in this vision, this honor belongs to all of you.

One home. One vision. Countless lives impacted. And so much more still to come. ❤️

We were using our noodles today at The Agency! 🍝

We celebrated National Noodle Day with a full day of noodle-themed fun! Our individuals built noodle towers, strung noodle necklaces, created noodle flowers, sorted different types of pasta, explored a noodle sensory bin, and even made spaghetti!

Who knew noodles could bring so much creativity, learning, and fun into one day?! We loved seeing everyone get hands-on, try something new, and enjoy spending time together.

National Noodle Day was definitely pasta-tively a good time at The Agency! ❤️

Nothing better than seeing our CE & Group Day DSPs proudly wearing the shirts their managers gifted them for DSP Week! A simple shirt, but such a meaningful reminder that the work our DSPs do matters, they are valued, and they are appreciated.

So thankful for every DSP who gives so much every day, and for managers who take the time to recognize them, celebrate them, and make sure they know just how important they are to ARS. ❤️

They wear “DSP” proudly, and we’re even prouder to have them on our team! 🙌

Our kitchen has been BUSY lately, and judging by this lineup, we have some pretty talented chefs in the house!

From sweet treats to savory favorites, our crew has been mixing, measuring, chopping, creating, and, of course, taste testing!

Happy Direct Support Professional Recognition Week! ❤️

This week, we celebrate the incredible DSPs who are truly the heart of Avila Residential Services.

At ARS, being a DSP is so much more than a job. Our DSPs are encouragers, advocates, problem solvers, teachers, cheerleaders, helping hands, and sometimes simply the person who is there when someone needs them most.

You are there for the everyday moments that may seem small but mean everything. You help the individuals we serve build independence, experience their communities, reach goals, make memories, and live lives filled with dignity, choice, and purpose.

Whether you are working in one of our group homes, supporting individuals at The Agency, out in the community, or helping wherever you are needed, YOU are what makes ARS special.

We know this work isn't always easy. It takes patience, compassion, flexibility, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. We see the early mornings, late nights, busy days, unexpected challenges, celebrations, laughter, and countless moments that never make it into a picture or a post.

Those moments matter. You matter.

To every DSP who chooses each day to show up and make a difference in someone else's life, THANK YOU. We are incredibly grateful that you are part of the ARS family.
