🌿 Sunday Echoes — Reflections from SOHEMA 🌿
This weekend, I found myself returning to the roots of my work—the beautiful world of sound healing through instruments.
I had the honor of creating a sound journey for a private retreat, followed by another intimate journey here at home. Sitting among my bowls, gongs, chimes, and all the familiar sounds that have accompanied me through the years felt deeply nourishing.
It felt like coming home. 🤍
Earlier, I had drawn this card: AWAKEN. Its message spoke about the balance between engaging with the world around us and knowing when to turn inward and listen to what is true within.
That message stayed with me because I am realizing that awakening can happen in many ways.
I am awakening more deeply to my voice and to a new expression of sound that is asking to come through me. This may mean traditional sound journeys become a little less frequent as the path unfolds, but they will always be part of SOHEMA and part of where I came from.
These instruments have carried me, taught me, and helped me create spaces of healing and connection for many years. They are not being left behind. They are becoming the roots beneath what is now beginning to grow. 🌱
I am also awakening to my own energy—to how much I have placed into the world, where I have placed it, and how important it is to become more intentional about what I give my energy to.
I am listening more carefully to the vibrations I want to live within, the connections I want to welcome, and the energy I wish to send outward and receive in return.
This is not about closing myself off. It is about honoring what feels true, nourishing, and aligned—and trusting that the energy I embody will help guide what finds its way to me.
✨ Maybe awakening is not always about leaving something behind.
Sometimes it is recognizing what has carried us, calling our energy home, and allowing what has been quietly waiting within us to finally come forward.
