Good evening all. We still have several of all our flavors of summer sasage available for that last minute stocking stuffer/ Christmas gift. I will be in the shop tomorrow 12.20.25 from 9am - 2 pm. We will still be running some discounts. .

All beef summer sauagaes are normally 12$ each. Until gone they will be 2 for 20$ or 5 for 45$.

Elk and Bison are normally 17$ each until gone they will be 2 for 30$ or 5 for 70$.

All Snack Sticks are normally 8$ each intil gone they will be 6$ each or 4 for 20$

While supplies last.

Must purchase two or more for discounts to apply

Good morning all. We are planning on being at the Bloomfield Hometown Christmas event today on the square with our summer sausage cabin. We have several of all our flavors still available. This will be our last outing for this year. If you miss us today and still need summer sausage you can come to the shop and pick it up if we still have it available. We will be running some discounts today.

Just a reminder.. we are an official drop off location for the FHFH (Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry) program here in Greene County. With the government shut down and the effect it is havimg on rhe SNAP/EBT program pantries will more than likey get hit hard this holiday season ALL deer donations through this program stays in Greene county and benefits your local food pantries. Last year we processed just over 2200 # for the pantries Great job deer hunters. Please consider
donating if you have extra tags this year

Also, there will be a drawing at the end of the year for an Buck FHFH knife. Each deer donated will get one enrty into the drawimg

We are also accepting deer meet to be made into summer sausage and snack sticks. Bring us 20 # or more of your b***d out meat and we will make yours by itself and can be made in any available flavors and with any available cheeses. However each 20 # batch must all be made the same. 40 # can be split into two separate flavors and so on. 5$ a roll for summer and 5$ a pound for sticks. I cannot split up the 20 #. We can also grind your deb***d meat for burger or make breakfast sausage out of it for you Pork meat can be added for an additional charge. Happy and Safe Hunting! Know your target and beyond!!

It has begun. Day 1 at the Covered Bridge Festival. We are located in the same location in Bridgeton that we have been for the past 18 years. Stop by and see us and get a free sample of one of our 10 varieties of sticks and sausages. See ya soon.

We are all set up and ready for a beautiful weekend at the Cory Apple Festival. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend come check us and all the other vendors out here in Cory. We will be here until Sunday with all our summer sausages and snack sticks and then heading up to the Covered Bridge Festival starting on Oct 10th. Once again we have come to close on this season. When season first starts I am so ready for it and excited to get started but but by this time of the year I am ready for a break. We will fire the kitchen back up in April for our first event at the Greene County Community Event center which is the Master Gardners Flower and Patio Show.
We want to thank all our customers for their support and confidence in us this year. We have truly enjoyed going to the festivals this year and meeting our old friends and making new ones. I also want to thank our good friends for helping out with those festivals among other things as well.
I also want to thank all the hunters that donated deer to the FHFH program this year, very well done.
Here are the totals for our FHFH program that we processed through our place for them this year. We processed a total of 36 deer with a total of 2232 # of meat sent to the local food pantries. This is 62 # per each deer donated. Here is who benefited from your donations.. Solsberry Christian Church, Lyons Food Pantry, Linton Food Pantry, Family Life Center, C2C, and the Worthington Food Pantry.
Once again thanks you all and we are looking forward to seeing all of you starting in April. Stay safe and God Bless you all.

Just a reminder.. we are an official drop off location for the FHFH (Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry) program here in Greene County. Give us a call if you have a deer to donate at 812-384-7882, we will try to accommodate most nights and weekends. ALL deer donations through this program stays in Greene county and benefits your local food pantries. For those of you in the Eastern part of the county and Monroe county you can drop your donations off at Solsberry Deer Processing and we will pick them up from there. Mike has generously agreed to accept those deer for us again this year to make it a little more convenient for our Eastern customers. The 2023 deer season produced 2112 # of deer meat for the pantries. Great job deer hunters.

Just a little of our backstory.. We brought this program to Greene county in 2005 and since then we have processed approximately 607 deer with an average of 63 # per deer which comes to 38,241 # of meat donated to your local pantries. This amount of deer meat created 152,964 meals for the residents of Greene county. Our biggest year was in 2009 with a total of 80 deer donated. This could not have been achieved without our generous deer hunters stepping up and donating their deer, so a big THANK YOU goes out to all who have donated and made this possible.

We are also accepting b***d out deer meet to be made into summer sausage and snack sticks. Bring us 20 # or more of your b***d out meat and we will make yours by itself and can be made in any available flavors and with any available cheeses. However each 20 # batch must all be made the same. 40 # can be split into two separate flavors and so on. I cannot split up the 20 #. We can also grind your deb***d meat for burger or make breakfast sausage out of it for $1.50 # plus seasoning. Pork meat or beef fat can be added for an additional charge. Happy and Safe Hunting! I would also like to recognize a young hunter in this post that donated her deer she harvested during youth season. She made the decision to donate her deer after successfully harvesting a really nice buck. I love hearing about these youth hunters getting out and carrying on the family traditions of hunting. And a thank you to those parents for taking the time to teach this tradition to their children. Congratulations Bridgett Todd and thank you for the donation. See pic below. 🦌

We are all set up and ready for this weekend at the Cory Apple Festival in Cory IN. We have stocked back up with all your favorite summer sausages and snack sticks. The festival will be Friday through Sunday. Hope to see you there.

We are all set up at the White River Antique Show in Elnora and ready for opening day tomorrow. This year the show runs from Wednesday through Saturday. No Sunday show this year. Come out and see us. we have fully stocked our summer sausage and snack sticks products so come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather and get some of your favorites. See ya all there.
