A heartfelt thank you to Village President and Mayor Franco A. Coladipietro for helping us cut the ribbon on our new Bloomingdale office! 💙

Having the Mayor there on October 1 meant so much to Leonard and our whole team. He's served Bloomingdale since 2013, and when he called our turnout one of the largest he's seen at a local ribbon cutting, it reminded us how lucky we are to be part of this community.

Thank you also to the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce for welcoming us with open arms. Moving to Bloomingdale brings us even closer to the families and community partners we're privileged to serve, and we can't wait to keep growing those relationships across Central DuPage.

We're officially open in Bloomingdale! 🎉

On October 1, Village President and Mayor Franco A. Coladipietro joined the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, our community partners, local families, and our team to cut the ribbon on our new office at 290 Springfield Drive, Suite 255. The Mayor said it was one of the largest turnouts he's seen at a local ribbon cutting, and we're so grateful to everyone who came out.

Discharge day should feel like a relief, not a worry.

But the first few days home after a hospital stay or rehab are when things can slip: new medications, less mobility, and a stack of instructions to keep straight. BrightStar Care of Central DuPage and Wheaton's nurse-led team bridges the gap from facility to home. We coordinate with discharge planners, manage medications, support mobility, and follow up closely to help prevent a return trip to the hospital.

Our ribbon cutting last week. We’re still taking it all in and feeling incredibly grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate with us.

We were out in the community this past friday!

Leonard and Sabrina had the opportunity to attend the Addison Park District Resource Fair, connecting with local residents and sharing information about BrightStar Care’s home care services and resources available to Veterans through the VA.

We also had the opportunity to educate families about the Medicare GUIDE Model, which may provide up to 72 hours of respite care per year at no cost for eligible individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or another qualifying dementia diagnosis.

We love being able to connect families with resources that can make a real difference. 💙

Jill Lee has always been driven by curiosity and a desire to better understand people. After years of building a career in research, product, and marketing, she set out to find a business opportunity where she could pair her professional experience with meaningful community impact.

The search became personal after her family was unable to fulfill her mother's wish to age in place. "I wanted to make sure other families had the opportunity that we didn't," Jill shared.

As she explored franchise ownership, BrightStar Care stood out for its full continuum of care, strong support system, and collaborative network of franchisees. Today, Jill is preparing to open her BrightStar Care location with a clear mission: helping more families access the care and support they need to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Richard Fulton path to BrightStar Care was shaped by a lifelong appreciation for service and a desire to make a meaningful impact in his community.

After building a successful career in marketing and operations, Richard was inspired to pursue business ownership by his family's experience caring for aging loved ones. Witnessing the challenges of caregiving firsthand reinforced the importance of accessible, high-quality home care and motivated him to bring those services closer to the families who need them most.

“Seeing my mom care for both of her parents really opened my eyes to just how much comes with being a caregiver,” Richard shared. “That's when I realized how important quality home care can be for an entire family.”
