Let's strengthen our hair from the inside out!
Hair loss is one of those things we tend to notice gradually… more hair in the brush, a thinner ponytail, more scalp showing through, or simply a feeling that our hair isn't growing the way it used to. And while hair itself may seem superficial, healthy hair growth depends on what is happening beneath the surface.
Hair follicles need adequate nutritional support, including protein and a range of vitamins and minerals, while factors such as stress, hormonal changes, ageing, illness, and changes in nutrition can all influence the normal hair-growth cycle.
This is why looking at hair health as part of whole-body wellness, rather than simply focusing on the hair itself, can be such a valuable approach.
A simple hair-care routine can then support that bigger picture. Nourishing from within, paying attention to your diet, and giving the scalp regular massage can all become part of a consistent self-care ritual.
I particularly like combining nutritional support with topical oils traditionally used in hair-care routines, such as Lavender, Rosemary, Cedarwood and Ylang Ylang, followed by a gentle shampoo and conditioner (Young Living formulas are WONDERFUL!).
For me, the important word is consistency—healthy-looking hair isn't usually about one dramatic treatment, but about creating the conditions for your body and scalp to be cared for every day. 🌟🌈🦋🦄
