👂 Congratulations to Bold North Beltone Hearing , who recently expanded into the Grand Forks market with the acquisition of Wakefield Hearing Center on South Washington. 🫶 And also congratulations to Richard Wakefield on his retirement!

The Chamber had a great time celebrating and supporting them with a ribbon cutting celebration, learning more about the staff and new owners, and seeing the hearing technology used on a daily basis. We look forward to supporting Beltone Hearing Centers for many years to come.🤜🤛

This Father's Day, we're celebrating all of the dads, grandpas, and father figures who make life a little brighter.

For this Employee Spotlight, we're featuring Paul Harkness, Owner of Beltone Hearing Centers. Paul has spent more than 30 years helping people hear better and live better. Throughout his career, one thing has remained constant—there's nothing more rewarding than helping someone reconnect with the sounds and moments that matter most.

As a proud father, some of Paul's favorite sounds are the everyday moments that create lasting memories: hearing "I love you," sharing laughter with his children, cheering at a big game, enjoying a funny family joke, and listening to stories around the dinner table. These are the sounds that keep us connected to the people we love.

Hearing is about so much more than sound—it's about being present for life's special moments and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Employee Spotlight!!

We're proud to spotlight Jon Kiehl, one of our dedicated Hearing Care Providers serving our Lakeville and Bloomington offices.

Jon brings an incredible 37 years of experience in the hearing industry, with expertise spanning both the manufacturing side and direct patient care. What he enjoys most about his work is building relationships with patients and witnessing the life-changing impact that better hearing can have on their daily lives.

When he's not helping patients reconnect with the sounds they love, Jon enjoys snowmobiling, boating, camping, and playing the drums. Above all, his favorite way to spend time is with his two grandchildren.

Thank you, Jon, for your passion, experience, and commitment to improving lives through better hearing. We are grateful to have you as part of the Beltone team! 👏💙

“My 96-year-old uncle’s hearing aid charger quit working on a Friday morning. His usual place he goes was closed from Thursday to Tuesday. He had a family graduation Saturday of a great niece and Sunday and Monday he has a prayer service and funeral for my Dad, his brother.
Shayna got us in and tested hearing aids, cords and charger. She offered us to use a charger over the weekend so my uncle could hear.

📣 Provider Spotlight | Meet Ashley Oberholtzer

Ashley is one of our Hearing Care Providers at Bold North Beltone, serving patients in our Fargo location as well as Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes, Perham, and Wahpeton.

Ashley is passionate about helping patients reconnect with conversations, relationships, and everyday moments that hearing loss can slowly affect over time. Patients often appreciate her calm, approachable style and the time she takes to educate and guide them through the hearing process without pressure, especially those who may feel nervous or unsure where to begin.

Ashley works closely with our office manager Cathy and our provider Dana to help create a warm, welcoming experience where patients feel comfortable, heard, and cared for throughout every step of their hearing journey.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as photography, creative projects, and giving back to the community.
