Here’s a little behind-the-counter question for you!

When a person who has never been to our pharmacy calls and asks if we stock a certain narcotic and they disclose that they are bringing a paper prescription and they want to pay cash for the medication, what do you think happens before it gets filled?

💙 HI, I’M JENNY SELTZER! 💙

Some of you have known me for a very long time… and some of you might be surprised to learn just how long! 😊

I started working at The Medicine Shoppe when I was just 18 years old. Today, I’m 42—which means I’ve had the privilege of spending 24 years behind the pharmacy counter serving this community.

And when I think about those 24 years, one thing means more to me than anything else:

I’ve gotten to know generations of families. ❤️

I’ve watched children grow up and become parents themselves. I’ve gotten to know their parents, grandparents, spouses and caregivers. I’ve celebrated happy moments with our customers, helped families through difficult ones, answered countless questions, shared plenty of laughs—and hopefully made a difference along the way.

That’s something you simply can’t put in a prescription bottle. 💊❤️

To me, being a pharmacist isn’t just about medications. It’s about relationships, trust and taking care of people.

When you walk into our pharmacy, I don’t want you to feel like a prescription number. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, telling us what’s going on, and knowing that the people behind the counter genuinely care about you.

After 24 years, one of my greatest privileges is being able to say:

I don’t just know my customers. I know their families. 🥰

And now, in many cases, I’m taking care of the next generation too.

Thank you to everyone who has allowed me to be a small part of your family’s story over all these years. It means more to me than you probably realize.
