Our leaders spent two days collaborating with division partners and gathering resources to support their teams and communities. The Midwest Division is excited to see the amazing impact this new leadership group will bring!

On August 6, CommuniCare celebrated an exciting milestone with the groundbreaking of Barboursville Healthcare Center, the newest addition to our family of companies.

Team members, elected officials, community leaders, project partners, and community members gathered to mark the beginning of a project that will bring compassionate, high-quality care to the Barboursville community. We were honored to welcome Governor Patrick Morrisey and many distinguished guests who joined us in recognizing the impact this new center will have on Cabell County and beyond.

Thank you to the many individuals and organizations whose leadership, partnership, and support helped make this vision a reality and our groundbreaking celebration a success. We are proud to continue investing in West Virginia and look forward to serving the residents and families of Barboursville for years to come.

On National Purple Heart Day, we honor the incredible bravery and sacrifice of the heroes wounded or lost in combat. 💜

We are especially proud to celebrate our founder, Steve Rosedale, a Purple Heart recipient. Steve was wounded in action while serving in Vietnam, where he completed a tour as a rifleman and later as an information specialist in the 199th Light Infantry Brigade. In recognition of his post-military service and lifelong commitment to supporting Veterans, Steve was inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in 2023.

Thank you, Steve, and happy National Purple Heart Day to all our nation's heroes.

The holiday season came early at our healthcare communities throughout WV, OH and IN this week.

Residents and staff at Wedgewood Healthcare Center, Ivy Woods Healthcare Center, Copley Health Center, and Grande Pointe Healthcare Community enjoyed celebrating Christmas in July with a special visit from the big guy in red himself!

The festive fun brought plenty of smiles, holiday cheer, and a welcome reminder of cooler days during these hot and sunny July weeks. Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so memorable for our residents and teams!
