Did you know that the U.S. Army has used Reiki since 2008 to treat soldiers with PTSD? The Fort Bliss Restoration and Resilience Center, led by Dr. John Fortunato, observed that Reiki greatly helped with 'hyper-arousal' in PTSD patients.

Integrated Energy Therapy® (IET®) sessions aim to release trauma energy stored in cellular tissues when overwhelmed at the time of the event. This energy becomes stagnant if not processed quickly and needs re-energizing to release. Re-experiencing trauma can re-traumatize, but IET® safely re-energizes and releases these energies without re-traumatizing.
