Hey Y’all!✨🤎

I’d love to start off by introducing myself. My name is Riley and I am THEE Licensed Nail Technician at ✨Makarios✨😘

I’d love to tell y’all a little bit about me, where I come from and how I got to where I am now!

There are many facets to me as a person but overall, I just consider myself an Artist. About three years ago I was a Stay at Home Mother to my two wild and beautiful children. During that time, I was an artist who made and sold my art at local festivals. I’ve always grown up crafting and being creative with my mother and sisters and have carried that with me through adulthood. I discovered the validity in the term “Starving Artist” because although my art was beautiful, unique and usable, it wasn’t considered a necessity. I struggled making an actual income on my art alone and as a single mother, I wanted a career for myself so that I could pass my success onto my children. I started looking into many things to do and Nail School was the main one that popped into my head and that I felt called to the most at the time. I am SO glad I listened to that calling!

With a two year old and a 5 month old, I signed myself up for Nail School. This was a beautiful new start for me as a woman and as an Artist. I soon THRIVED in Nail School and caught on to the techniques quickly. It didn’t take me long to build the beautiful clientele that I have now and I feel so lucky and blessed to be so passionate about something I can also support my family in. I soon discovered that Nail and Beauty services are not just cosmetic, they are healing to the soul. I offer my clients, of ALL walks of life, a safe space to be themselves. And they have offered that to me as well🥹💗We laugh, we cry, we goof off, we SLAY some nails (and feet😘) every time they sit at my table. I am constantly reminding myself about how much Nails and my clients and friends I’ve made along the way, have saved my life. Coming from an empathic, healthcare family of women, I love that I can still make people feel better and bring light into their life just by having them come sit with me while we get creative and bond through Self-Care.

I truly believe I am meant to be here, with Kaylee and Jordan by my side here at Makarios. God knows our stories and what we have been through to get to where we are. And I am honored to have two, absolute powerhouses of women next to me on this new journey. Here at Makarios, we make it our mission to provide a Safe, Trustworthy and Dependable experience for you to take care of yourself and feel at home while doing so. We are so excited to share this with you all and can’t wait to see what the future brings us!✨🌹🤎

Hi, I’m Kaylee Nunley- co-owner of Makarios, licensed master cosmetologist, advanced skincare specialist, and mother of twin boys.

I co-created Makarios to provide elevated beauty, corrective skincare, and luxury self-care experiences focused on both results and relaxation. I have advanced training in esthetics, skin revision, and lash artistry. I also specialize in custom hair extensions, corrective skincare, micro-needling, chemical peels, hydrodermabrasion, dermaplaning, C2o2 oxygen facials, and Circadia’s SWiCH treatement. All my services are designed to enhance natural beauty while protecting skin and hair health. At Makarios, every service is thoughtfully curated to combine modern techniques, advanced product knowledge, and personalized treatment plans.

My passion for skin health and beauty continues to inspire ongoing education and innovation. This week we’re highlighting our staff so everyone new and familiar to us knows who we are and what we have to offer!

First up, Jordan Holleman. Jordan is the creator of the brand Makarios and is exceptionally talented in all that she does. Here’s a little bit about Jordan, from Jordan:

Hi beautiful souls, and welcome to ✨ Makarios ✨

For those of you who don’t know me yet, my name is Jordan Holleman. I’m a proud mom of three, a dog mama to my frenchie girls, and now the owner of Makarios. 🤍
For the past 7 years, I’ve worked as a nurse in many different roles, caring for others has always been a huge part of who I am. But deep down, I’ve also always carried a passion for beauty, skincare, and helping people feel confident in themselves. Recently, I took a leap of faith and completed a local esthetician program and it completely changed my life.

For months, I prayed, searched, and toured different salon suites, but nothing ever felt right. It wasn’t until I fully surrendered the process to God and trusted His timing that the door to Makarios opened. The moment I walked in, I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be. The name “Makarios” comes from the original Greek text of the Bible, meaning blessed, favored, and deeply fulfilled. Creating this space was my way of honoring God, keeping a promise I made to Him, and building something rooted in faith, beauty, peace, and purpose.

Makarios is more than just a salon to me; it’s the beginning of a new chapter, a safe space where beauty meets self-care, confidence, and genuine connection. I’m beyond grateful for every single person supporting me on this journey, and I cannot wait to welcome you in.
