Our team is heading back to APP Conference! ✈️✨

This year, Brittany and Kai, along with our sterile tech/piercing apprentice, Sophie, will be attending the annual Association of Professional Piercers Conference to continue advancing their education, skills, and industry knowledge.

Why?

Because being voted Best Piercing Studio in SLC isn’t something we take lightly.

The truth is, a cute studio can be copied. Pink walls can be copied. Pretty branding can be copied.

Education, experience, and a genuine commitment to professional development can’t.

We believe the piercing industry needs career professionals—not people who receive minimal training and are simply handed a needle. Our clients deserve piercers who are dedicated to ongoing education, safety, sterilization, anatomy, jewelry quality, and continually improving their craft.

That’s why we invest thousands of dollars every year to send our team to APP Conference. We don’t do it because we have to. We do it because our clients deserve the very best.

While Kristina and Sam will be missing this year’s conference (Kristina is getting married on June 11th 💍), we’re incredibly proud to have our team representing The Piercing Place and bringing back even more knowledge to better serve our clients.

Being the best isn’t luck. It’s education. It’s dedication. It’s never settling for “good enough.”

• Healing time is typically 6–12 months
• Flat back jewelry helps keep it comfortable
• Avoid sleeping directly on it while healing
• Downsizing your post around 6 weeks is super important 💖
We use implant grade titanium and sterile single-use needles for every piercing

We’re so excited to officially share that Mo and Sophie have advanced into their piercing apprenticeships! 🩷

After spending the last year with us learning the foundation of professional piercing — sterilization practices, proper jewelry standards, anatomy, client care, and all the behind-the-scenes details that matter most — they’ve taken the next step and are now doing their basic piercings!

We’re incredibly proud of the work they’ve put in and the dedication they’ve shown to learning how to do things the right way. Watching them grow has been so fun, and they’ve both been doing amazing already. 👏
