I started a low FODMAP, gluten-free MIND diet on Monday to support my digestion, reduce inflammation and brain fog, and feel better in my body.

It’s still very early, but so far I’m feeling full and satisfied, experiencing no digestive issues, and noticing more energy, mental clarity, and connection to my intuition. The scale is also down three pounds.

Please help me congratulate these two beautiful souls who are now officially certified Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master Teachers! 🤍

Over three days together, they expanded their Reiki practice in so many powerful ways—learning, practicing, receiving, healing and stepping into a whole new level of their Reiki journey.

✨ They learned how to create and charge a Reiki crystal grid for distance healing and World Peace
✨ Practiced incorporating crystals into Reiki sessions
✨ Used Reiki Fingers to open, clear, and balance the chakras
✨ Learned techniques for quickly clearing the aura when time is limited
✨ Experienced and learned to facilitate powerful Holy Fire Healing Experiences for individuals and groups
✨ And learned how to teach Reiki and attune others themselves!

But Reiki Master training is about so much more than learning new techniques.

One of the most beautiful parts of this training is the personal transformation that happens along the way.

I’m doing a 45-day Higher Self Challenge and I want you to play along with me.

I’ve been reading Waking Up in 5D by Maureen St. Germain, and she shares a practice for strengthening your connection with your Higher Self by learning to recognize its guidance in a really practical, everyday way.

Here’s how to join me:

First, establish your signals.
Ask your Higher Self to show you what a YES feels like in your body. Pay attention to whatever you notice—a sensation, movement, feeling, energy shift, or inner knowing.

Then ask for your NO.

Then ask for NEUTRAL which means there isn’t a clear yes or no answer.

Your signals may be subtle and completely unique to you. The goal is to start learning your language.

Then comes the challenge:
For the next 45 days, ask your Higher Self 30–50 questions every day.

But here’s the important part: only ask trivial questions.

“Should I wear the blue shirt?”
“Should I take this route?”
“Should I have tea?”
“Should I do this task now or later?”

Nothing life-changing. Nothing where you’re deeply invested in the answer. The point is to practice receiving guidance without your desires, fears, or expectations getting in the way.

Ask. Notice your yes, no or neutral. Follow the guidance every time. And pay attention to what happens.

I’m doing it right along with you and sharing some of my experiences along the way.

Sometimes the sign that you’re ready for the next level of Reiki isn’t that you feel completely prepared.

Sometimes the next step is simply about being ready to receive and experience more yourself.

After years of practicing Reiki and becoming certified in four different Reiki lineages, there are SO many things I love about being a Reiki Master Teacher, but these are my top 10. 

And while some of the Master-level gifts are incredible (hello, #5 👀), #1 will always be my favorite.

There is something indescribable about initiating someone into Reiki and watching them connect with the energy for the very first time.

The surprise. The emotion. The “Wait…I can actually feel it!” moment.

And then watching what happens as Reiki becomes part of their lives...the healing, growth, intuition, spiritual connection, and, for some, eventually the desire to share Reiki with others.

I get to witness that transformation over and over again, and it never stops feeling magical to me.
