As National Nurses Week comes to a close, we want to thank the dedicated nurses at the Adelson Gift of Life-NMDP Stem Cell Collection Center for the care, compassion, and support they provide to our donors every day. Your work helps make each donor’s experience comfortable, safe, and meaningful. 👩🏽‍⚕️💙

We are also so grateful to everyone who helped make this week special with meals, treats, gifts, and celebrations throughout the week. Thank you to Rotelli’s, Habit Burger, Jersey Mike’s, Café Encanto, Fresh Kitchen, and everyone who contributed to celebrating our team.

Today also marks the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. In her honor, our nurses wore white to celebrate her lasting impact on the profession and the compassionate care nurses continue to provide every day.

Thank you again to our nurses and everyone who helped us celebrate them this week.

Stem cell couriers ensure donated cells reach patients safely and on time, whether across the country or around the world! ✈️🌍 Every delivery is time sensitive and carefully managed, with specialized handling to protect the cells every step of the way.

For Larissa, this work is personal. After her husband received a years ago, she wanted to get involved and now helps deliver lifesaving cells to patients in need.

This Mother’s Day, we’re recognizing the incredible impact mothers have on the lives around them. 💙

For student athlete Lucy, that impact led to a lifesaving decision. After watching her mom battle brain cancer for eight years, Lucy understood the importance of showing up for others during their hardest moments.

When she received the call that she was a match for a patient with leukemia, she didn’t hesitate to say yes.

Surrounded by encouragement from her mom and teammates, Lucy donated her stem cells to help give another family a second chance.
