She came in with a list. I stopped her before she got to the end of it. 🛑
Not to be difficult. Because a list of things you dislike is not an assessment, and if I treat the list, you walk out with a face that had four separate opinions applied to it.
So here is what I was actually doing while she was talking.
Watching her face at rest, then moving, because those are two different faces and only one of them shows up in photographs. Looking at the skin under her eyes, which is the thinnest on the face and where crepiness starts before anywhere else. And asking her to clench, which is how I check the masseters. Hers are slightly enlarged, and that adds width through the lower face. A lot of women read that as heavier and more masculine than they want, and almost nobody comes in asking about it.
The tox she asked about would be prevention here, not correction. There is nothing to soften yet.
Her lips were on her list and they were on mine too, just not for the reason she thought. Not simply bigger. Vertical work to bring the lower lip down, volume placed laterally, more projection through the Cupid’s bow, and the corners turned up.
And the fine line she pointed at? Noted, and left alone. Not everything you notice needs treating the day you notice it. 🤍
Comment MAP and I will send what I map on a face before anyone gets a unit.
